The Yellows competed in a tournament day at Killingworth which saw the whole league play each other once in 10 minute games (5 minute halfs) with the 1st and 2nd placed teams play in a final to get the eventual winners and runner-up. All participants get a medal for the day!

Tynemouth started the day with a game against eventual runners up, Wideopen. Tynemouth showed real determination and lacked a spot of luck after loosing in the end to a well worked goal.

The second game came straight after as the Yellows faced Heaton Hawks Falcons after a great moves by the Yellows saw Jack pop up and provided a great lob over the keeper.

Another quick turnaround saw the under 9s face KYPC with previous league results looking in a very even game. This proved to be the case after Tynemouth went ahead after a penalty was given for handball with Oliver Caselles placing the ball in the back of the net.

The fourth straight game was against Heaton Hawks the opposition in a very close game with the Yellows leaving empty handed in a game and a stretch of games which they showed great determination and a well deserved rest before playing their last game.

After a quick break the Yellows played their last game of the winter league against Newcastle City. Tynemouth were very unlucky to be down at half time after a goal just before the referees whistle left a big team talk ahead for the coaches to help motivate them after a disappointing blow. The teams game back out for the second half with the Yellows again working hard like they have done all season but it wasn't meant to be as City broke and applied a good finish at the end of a great game.
